Introduction
Inspecting first selected item active take audio metadata can be done in REAPER via Media Item Properties window or via the the Item properties: Show media item source properties action. Though this window is not very convenient: it blocks other parts of the UI, it needs to be close / reopen to be able to display another item metadata, you can’t change it’s size, it can’t be docked etc…
For my scripting need, I made an Item Metadata Viewer script, which solves every issue mentioned above. It came up to be so handy that I thought it would be interesting to release it publicly. I think it can be particulary interesting for people working a lots with metadata.

Feature Requests
Miss a function? let me know!
I plan to add Cover Image support as long as the necessary function is merged into SWS Extension.
I consider making it works with media explorer as well, but it is possible that I is just not possible (with database at least). So consider it is just for items for now!
