Select all items which need to be rendered
This script select every items with REAPER specific features (reversed, loops, take FX etc…) or properties values differences compared to the project ones (bit depth, sample rate…) so they can be rendered before project conversion. This script is way more efficient than running all the different selection actions one after the other, as items are checked once, and most efficient tests are run first.
My Go to and zoom to next/previous items scripts shared in my free scripts pack can then be used for detailed inspection.
Select items inside other items on the same track
Select all items with active take playrate offset and unselect the others
Select all items with active take pitch offset and unselect the others
Select all items with active take pan offset and unselect the others
Select all multichannel items on mono tracks and mono items on multichannel tracks
This works with track whith “mono” keywords in their name. The script identifies items which has multichannel content on mono tracks or only mono multichannel on stereo tracks and select them, so you can put them on the right tracks. Stereo items is:
- items with source multichannel and channel mode normal
- items with take pan envelope
- items with take pan offset
It will not identifies stereo enhancers take FX.
